My Summer Edit
I’m up at the cabin again, and basically back and forth from the Sunshine Coast as much as humanly possible, which means I’m in my vacay, off-duty clothes 24/7. Rounding up some of the style essentials I live in up here in Powell River…basically, anything comfy, basic & chic that breathes well (since we’ve been having a record-breaking heat wave this year).
First of all, we’ll start with the base of every look when you’re living seaside…the swimwear. Whether it’s a bikini or one-piece, I’m looking for nursing-friendly (and large chest friendly) options. I find L*Space always has great options, but I’m especially loving Cult Gaia (also the most amazing cover-ups from this label) & Zimmermann too (not every piece is great for bigger chests but just look for anything that ties at the back, that allows you to size up and match to your band width!).
Lately all I’m topping my swimwear with is a chic linen cover-up or oversized button-down shirt like the one above…literally living in this right now! If I’m heading out into town I just throw on a pair of denim cut-off’s or some breezier linen pants (so many by Splendid I love), a pair of slides & cover up with a hat.
If you’re stuck on new styles, Shopbop has some seriously amazing warm weather edits right now, from The Vacation Edit to my personal fave, The Out of Office Edit!
