Never in my life did I think I’d have so many opportunities to use the word “quarantine” in my blog post titles. In fact, I never, ever thought we’d all be stuck in a situation like this – I’m still struggling a bit honestly with just trips being cancelled, work slowing down, being home so, so much but I’m also so happy to be staying put if it means we’ll all get through this mess sooner rather than later. Focusing on the positives in general (whether that means connecting with friends I haven’t talked to in awhile, lots of quality time with Matt or getting lots of time to focus on my reread of Harry Potter) has been helping me a lot, and one very obvious positive is having pretty much worn nothing but sweatpants or leggings for weeks on end now. So, so glad that despite Matt’s protests I really invested in lots of cozies before this all went down (for the cabin, actually, which I’m missing a ton right now) – we’re lucky that sweats have never been more stylish so that it feels less like giving up on life and more comfort chic.
