I’m so excited to make 2016 my year of travel—from returning to Europe to doing my first big road trip to heading south for some much-needed Vitamin D (always amazing come February/March when the temps haven’t really warmed up yet), I’m so excited to be flying out a ton this year. Of course, fantasizing about what I’ll wear in the next exotic locale is always a majorly fun part of the experience, and fortunately the Hudson’s Bay has me covered for my next warm weather destination!
My major mission with each trip is to manage all my packing in one carry-on, and this Ricardo Beverly Hills beauty is the perfect piece. With compartments for shoes, laundry and any other smaller items, it’s really the best of both worlds: the organization of a full suitcase but the ease of a carry-on (and best of all, it’s unbelievably light). As you guys know from my carry-on list from travelling Europe, I’m really such a fan of travelling light and especially for a beach vacay, it’s the only way to go.
Of course, if you’re headed somewhere warm, the most important thing to pack is some killer swimwear. I usually pack a few separates (like this stunning boho Topshop crochet top and perfect denim cut-offs), a couple dresses and a big lightweight linen scarf (doubles as a dress, skirt, or wrap on the plane!) and spend all my other time in swimwear! This Topshop aqua blue beauty is my favourite—can’t wait to wear it to Maui on our annual trip! And I can’t get over these Nanette Lepore suits—all the perfect balance of sexy, fun and femme. I’m dying over this high-necked black two-piece (with a matching romper, no less) and pink one piece.
Finally, a solid sunscreen is an absolute must (especially for someone who loves the sunshine as much as me)—this lightweight SPF 30 from LANCÔME actually benefits your skin, an absolute must for someone who has a combination skin like I do! Perfect to use at home as a base and when you’re out there under the sun’s warm rays while travelling.
