If you guys follow along on Instagram or Snapchat (@tovogueorbust) then you may have already seen the news, but if not, GUESS.WHAT. I’m going back to Europe in just a short week and a half! I’ll be gone for only three weeks this time but I’m so unbelievably excited to revisit some of my favourite places ever (and one brand new destination) with some of my best friends. Click through to find out where I’m off to!

Emaan and I are going to touch down in Paris on July 10th (eep, so soon!) where we’ll be spending just under a week, getting a chance to catch up with my Auntie Donna (actually my mum’s best friend) who lives in Paris and to leisurely tour the city. Both of us have seen Paris a couple times before so as much as I love seeing the main attractions (and still want to see a couple places I missed out on my last two tours of the city), I’m excited to just be in the city and go wherever the wind takes us. It’s always good for me to get back to my original first language too and I’m excited to be surrounded by French again!
The next Thursday we fly to Cork to see Amanda, one of our best friends, and her boyfriend Dave who’s totes in like Flynn with us. From there we’re going to see Dingle (where I’ve always wanted to go!), return to Galway (one of my absolute favourite parts of my last trip), then head to Dublin to grab one of our other best friends Britt (we’re an international crew!) really quickly before venturing up to Wicklow. For all the ladies (so pretty much 99.9% of the people reading this), Wicklow acts as the breathtaking background in that scene in PS I Love You when that annoying girl and hot Gerard Butler first meet.
After Wicklow, we’re driving up into Northern Ireland, my first time there ever! We’re going to stay in Belfast a couple days then head up to see the Giant’s Causeway and spend a night in the surfer town of Portrush. We’ll head back for one more night in Dublin, say goodbye to everyone (I can already imagine the xxxtreme crying on my part…love these girls!), then off to London for me for a few days to see my sister Tash and her boyfriend Nick!
I can already tell it’s going to be a total whirlwind trip but it’s going to be such a special one since almost all of our group will be together for once (except for Caitlin in Oz, who we’re going to miss so much!). Despite all of us living in quite literally every corner of the world over the past few years, from Australia to Qatar to Ireland to Canada, these girls have always been my support system and mean so much to me. They’re all the true, living embodiment of what friendship should be – despite being miles apart, we’re always somehow in contact pretty much every single day (thanks Whatsapp!) and we’re all there for one each other. And you know what, while initially it seemed really shitty that we all kind of got stationed around the world far away from one another, it’s actually been a blessing in disguise because it’s given me a reason to go visit them! Though this will be my 2nd time back in Ireland, I’m hoping to meet halfway with Britt in Dubai over the next year or so, and to venture out to Oz for Caitlin soon. There’s no telling when I would’ve made the trip to these places otherwise, so really, it’s all had the added bonus of showing me how small the world is and how we can all still stay connected no matter what. With my older sister in London too, I’m exercising this principle with the fam as well now!
Anyhoo, if any of you have done Paris, Dingle, Galway, Wicklow, Belfast or Portrush – tell me tips in the comments below or shoot me an email at [email protected]! The more info the better!
