It’s no secret I love LOFT. From the perfect summer jumpsuit to the loveliest transition piece, I’ve been a loyal fan ever since the brand crossed north of the border to Canada a few years ago. Naturally, I make any excuse to head to my go-to location here in Vancouver: the stunning Park Royal LOFT! From the lovely ladies working there (who have begun remembering me, a true testament to my obsession with the brand!) to the handy in-house info that gives you the run-down on all pant styles (love a brand that respects a wide variety of shapes and silhouettes), it’s always such a wonderful experience, and I always leave with an armful of new staples. I’m already plotting a return back to the North Shore to nab this lasercut beauty but ended up settling on this stunning mesh sweater, classic tank top and quite possibly my favourite piece of the lot, the elegant yet totally wearable jacquard pencil skirt. What I love about LOFT is that while there are so many great statement pieces commingling with the brand’s classic staples, everything works seamlessly together – all of the pieces I ended up walking home with are completely mix-and-match friendly with everything else in-store and with my existing wardrobe. I know my mum, for instance, being the busy woman she is juggling a demanding career and a big family (and a million other things) wants to enter a store and leave with at least 5 great outfits that cover everything from office to weekend looks, and to do it all in hopefully less than an hour. Just one of the many reasons we love to hit up LOFT together with one of my sisters!
Worth noting too that LOFT has really paid close attention to the merchandising and layout of their stores, which makes such a difference in a shopping experience. I am actually a really quick shopper myself and don’t like having to dig through nooks and crannies trying to find pieces to pair together. I can quickly scan LOFT’s bright, spacious and beautifully styled racks and mannequins and pull together a ton of looks right off the bat.
