Working for myself as a blogger means that no two days look the exact same, but there are a few things I can generally expect most days and fortunately, Clearly Contacts has frames to suit each occasion! Getting Outside and Moving

Most days I lace up and go for a run, go to spin or hit the gym (so I’m ordinarily wearing contacts, which I also happen to get from Clearly Contacts), but on my rest days I love to get outside on the Sea Wall and just take an hour or so to stretch my legs. The bonus of these days is that I can really rock a sports chic look since I won’t be breaking a sweat, and I love the unexpected addition of some classic dark frames to the outfit!

Running Errands at the Market

One of the things I’m grateful for each and every day is that I live so close to Granville Island – not only is it a super convenient one-stop shop for most everything I need in a day (groceries, flowers, coffee, etc), but it’s honestly one of my absolute favourite places in the city as it is (which is why nearly every outfit shoot I do is taken there!). I love popping by Petit Ami to see the lovely ladies who work there and grabbing my daily almond mylk Americano misto, getting a fresh bouquet from V & J Plant Shop and taking in one of my favourite buskers outside. I’m usually in some iteration of my classic uniform (skinnies, flats/sneakers, T-shirt and either my leather jacket or a cozy sweater), so spicing things up a little bit with these coloured frames helps make my everyday look feel that much more special!

Coffee Shop Meeting

So many of my meetings are over the phone with marketing managers or reps outside of the city, so if I’m meeting with anyone in the city, I love to ensure that it’s a face-to-face to get me out of the apartment (and hopefully into Beaucoup, my go-to meeting location suggestion as it’s not only a beautiful, cozy space but it has the best baking in the city in my opinion!). Sleek but business-apropos classics like a blazer, blouse and skinnies are given an extra dose of style with these incredible clear frames – I love the idea of mixing up classic frame shapes with unexpected but still neutral shades!
