There’s a reason why you find me in jeans so often, particularly when I’m home in Vancouver. The city’s full of all the cosmopolitan benefits you’d hope for in a major metropolitan area, but it really has an outdoorsy, laid-back vibe that makes you want to get out and explore it by foot. Finding a pair of jeans that is not only flattering and chic but also super comfortable is like hitting the ultimate jackpot in this city – stylish enough to feel confident in, but possessing that second skin quality that makes you totally comfortable the entire day. Silver Jeans‘ latest Fluid Denim line completely captures both of these qualities so it should come as no surprise that I’ve hardly stopped wearing my latest pairs since getting my hands on them. If you guys live in Vancouver or are familiar at all with Granville Island, it shouldn’t take long before you notice that it comes up a lot in my posts and my Instagram feed. Being situated down the Sea Wall from the island, I’m here almost every single day, whether I’m picking up lunch, grabbing coffee, getting flowers or just relaxing near the boardwalk and reading.
Though it’s not that far away, it feels juuuust a little ridiculous to me to traipse down the Sea Wall all done up so pretty much every time I head to the island I’m in jeans or something equally casual. These Silver Jeans skinnies were perfect for an impromptu brainstorm session with my girl Alicia after our walk on the boardwalk. A visit to The Stock Market and a table score later (seriously, every time I find a table in Granville Island’s market it’s like a very big win) I was all bundled up in my chair in my cashmere and skinnies, cozy as can be.

Love the cardigan but I noticed that any links provided lead to the website but not the article. It is very tedious trying to figure out where that particular piece might be hiding and thus I don't bother. Just a thought.
I'm a pretty casual person too, so this is the type of look I love to see and get inspired by when I go through my blog roll.
The jeans look awesome and I love that Silver is coming out with new styles like this. I still remember the old pair I got when I was in high school. They've come a long way 🙂
