Day to Night Holiday Style
SHOP THE POST
Let’s face it…between gift shopping, baking, holiday parties, decorating, movie watching, visiting with family plus a million other things (and just work and general life on top of that), the holidays can almost be as stressful as they are amazing. Worrying about how to transition from a busy day to looking your best for evening plans only adds to the seemingly never-ending list of to-do’s during the holiday season, which is why I’m here today sharing how the wonderful, refreshingly elegant and versatile jumpsuit will get you through your whole day in style (and ease), serving as the perfect base for a day-to-night transformation – click through to read the full post!
The Day Look
SHOP THE DAY LOOK
Walter Baker leather jacket (similar), Zara scarf (similar),
sweater c/o 424 Fifth (similar), sneakers c/o Converse,
bag c/o One Fated Knight (similar)
This daytime look is everything you need for a day filled with running around attending to holiday errands – whether it’s a quick coffee catch-up, holiday shopping or wrapping gifts, this cool-meets-casual look will get you through the day in comfort with a dose of edgy style. I love how the simple addition of a sweater (especially a cute one like this 424 Fifth bulldog-emblazoned one!) gives jumpsuits a culottes vibe, riding the tail of a major trend this past year. Of course, if Chucks aren’t your thing you could easily swap in booties or ballerina flats (I swear by my Tieks!); having said that, I like the laid-back vibe of sneakers for a busy day, and you can always add in some seasonal appeal with the addition of a cheery pop of colour or traditional print (see this post for some good plaid scarf styling ideas!) too.
The Night Look
SHOP THE NIGHT LOOK
To look pulled together and elegant for the evening, simply stow away your sweater, scarf and Chucks (I find a little dust bag always works for the sneakers!) in your roomy tote from earlier in the day, swap in some pumps, a statement necklace and a stunning envelope clutch (all sleek and compact enough to have stayed in the bag earlier), and pull back your hair into a low bun (a dash of red lipstick or a smokey eye wouldn’t hurt at this point either – check out the latest smokey eye tutorial here!). By shedding just a few layers, the look’s entirely transformed and best of all, you won’t have to run home to make the transformation.

This jumpsuit is beautiful! I love the V neckline. Great outfits too. I love how you styled the day and night. They both look so different! It's almost difficult to tell that it's the same jumpsuit.
