Today’s my sixth and final post with 424 Fifth as one of their brand ambassadors! It’s been a wonderful two months collaborating with this incredible exclusive brand by Lord & Taylor (shop them over here at the Bay!) and I’ve honestly loved each and every piece I’ve had the opportunity to work into a look (and if you missed earlier ones, you can check out 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5!).
The skirt and sweater that make up today’s look are no exception. Though I’d ordinarily opt for a simple silk tank or blouse with a femme skirt like this sheer layered piece, I really loved the way the texture of the sweater played off of this awesome check-on-floral print action. With a camisole underneath, this would work for the office too! I, for one, was having hot flashes for some freak reason yesterday so I embraced the sheer quality myself – fingers crossed I’m not coming down with a fever because a. that would just be pathetic after last week and b. ….I don’t want to have a fever.
