There’s something I love about the combination of midnight blue and fluoro pink – it’s so femme but still so strong. Sleek silver accessories and a classic updo help to soften up an otherwise 80s-esque combo. It was the perfect casual but high-impact look to wear out with my girls Alicia, Jen and Erin the other night – I’ve been so spoiled lately to have had lots of quality time with my blogger girls. Always such a treat to swap tips, talk projects and get inspired by my lovely network of blogger pals.
It’s been really good for me to keep busy lately anyway – today not only marks my little brother’s birthday (happy birthday Ben!!!) but it also marks the one month anniversary since my baby Bailey left us. I still have rough days pretty often, though hopefully, no one can really notice anymore – I’ve found really diving into my work and spending lots of time with friends has helped me compartmentalize everything pretty well.
On that note, here’s to a good evening tonight of back-to-back events with some of my local blogettes! Will have some exciting news too to share about another event next week for local Vancouverites – stay tuned!
