My latest favourite layering trick: leather jackets under a cozy sweater jacket or wool coat. Love the play on texture, plus if you’re anything like me i.e. perpetually freezing, it provides some extra (and much-needed) warmth! Wore this yesterday during a very brief break from craziness at Granville Island…to describe this past weekend as overwhelming would be a huge understatement!
From taking part in a style-off at Old Navy‘s new Vancouver location alongside my friends Jen and Alicia Friday night to a full day of shooting for Glitter Guide with Jen and Erin Saturday (followed by drinks with old friends Saturday night) to a full day of catching up on work Sunday, I barely had any rest at all. I can’t really complain though…as busy as it was, the weekend was also amazing. Check out my Instagram feed to see snaps!
I’m hoping I can just take this week to get back to basics (hitting the gym, eating normally, getting more than five hours of sleep) so that I can rest up and start getting into Christmas-mode. Whether or not you’re the type that likes to start celebrating early or not (I know I am!) it is officially just over a month away! We’re busy getting our space Christmas-fied, can’t wait to share some decor snaps soon!
Hope you all had a slightly more restful weekend – we all need as much rest as possible before the inevitably crazy holiday season!
