Since the fall leaves are likely not able to hang on much longer, it really felt right to do one last outfit completely inspired by these stunning autumnal colours. As styled before here and here, I really can’t get enough of this Club Monaco skirt. With my favourite chunky red sweater and warm brown leather touches, this is definitely one of my last odes to fall. It’s been freezing out lately and only getting darker earlier and earlier…winter’s definitely coming. I am not a winter person…I get depressed, I hate the cold and I tend to lose some style inspiration. My goal this year? Try to make as many winter-apropos bucket list items as possible and try to enjoy the season as much as possible. Skiing trips, ice skating at Robson Square…hopefully diving into the season (even a season I’m not crazy about) head-first will help me learn to love it!
What about you guys – do any of you tend to get down in the winter?
I work at West Van Florist so its hard to get down at this time of year when your constantly surrounded by brightly colored flowers! and right now the whole store is top to bottom christmas and there is something about how the store sparkles when it gets darker that really makes me happy. Try going to a florist when your down. I swear it will brighten anyone's mood!

I am SO not a winter person either…the short days in particular always get me feeling down. But being from Toronto originally – where they tend to get mountains of snow – I can tell you that I'll take the rain any day over the white stuff!! Keep the outfits cute; that's my antidote!! How can you feel gloomy when you look so good?!
