So as planned, rather than the rager parties that used to be part of my Halloween repertoire, this Saturday was spent eating candy, drinking cider and watching Harry Potter with my friends. It was pretty much the best. I also ended up going out Friday (hence the low-key night in Saturday) which really just confirmed my suspicions that I’m definitely not able to do back-to-back nights anymore. It’s kind of pathetic really but what can I say…as lame as it sounds, I’d rather catch up on sleep on the weekends then spend the whole next day with a splitting headache and queasy belly.
Speaking of which, these pictures were snapped when I was suffering from exactly those symptoms, though thankfully it wasn’t too too bad (take milk thistle before going out, I swear by it). Beautiful sunshine, a vivid print by Faryn Skye and warm brown leather definitely helped to brighten up an otherwise tired face. Also Brooklyn Designs‘ always stunning yet simple jewelry – these earrings have quickly become new staples!

I always pick which night I go out on the weekend, and even then most of the time I'm in bed by 1, I am an old lady!! That sounds like a lovely weekend 🙂

that scarf is truly amazing and damn girl that one picture your legs are bomb!! I'm always with you on not being able to go out anymore.. my friend and I wanted to this weekend but we ended up staying in and drinking 2 bottles of wine and ordering pizza. Best night ever! hahah

I'm definitely past the years when I used to go out two (or more!) nights in a row. My body doesn't cope well with it at all! Going to bed at a reasonable hour on the weekends has now become a habit, and dammit, I love it! Haha!

Nights in with friends are seriously some of my favourites. It makes me feel so old, but I am just no longer capable of going out for a "crazy" party night too often anymore.
