Matt and I took a little weekend trip up to Whistler this weekend and were immediately greeted by the mountains, charming village stroll and…rain. Lots of it. I’m so glad I had the foresight to pack an umbrella and gumboots because they ended up getting used all weekend long! Fall really and truly came in full force to ring in its official first day yesterday…aside from needing to waterproof myself all weekend, I also really had to bundle up. As much as I’ve been looking forward to some chilly weather to start wearing all of my favourite coats and jackets, it was a very biting reminder of how little I actually like the cold!
Regardless, it was such a nice trip and so good to get away for a little bit, even if it’s just an hour out of the city! Many thanks to Chevy, who kindly lent us the Impala to use for our weekend getaway! Such a great little car.

The fall weather came on so quick! It was 80-90 here last week and now it's in the 60s. I am not complaining though, I love the fall! I love this outfit, especially the jeans! Also, can I mention the guy in red in the background of one of your pics? He looks a little starstruck 🙂
