Somehow, this week has unintentionally turned into something of a fall homecoming – I’ve been under the weather so have unexpectedly been really embracing more cold-weather activities, namely sitting in a cafe, watching Lost (only my 8th time through the whole series, NBD) and flipping through a stack of magazines with the rain coming down outside, picking out all the fall fashion, beauty and accessories I want to work into my wardrobe.
I like to move on fast-forward as a general rule, so it hasn’t taken me long to acquire a few of these fall favourites already:
1. Joe Fresh‘s new fall polishes are perfect – love their vampy Cabernet shade.
2. Social Experiment‘s raw yet refined cocktail rings.
3. My hair’s naturally straight, but going over it with a flat iron gives it some fall-apropos polish.
4. Ladylike, structured bags, like this one from Phillip Lim and Target’s collaboration line.
5. A subtle berry tone, like Ilia’s Dress You Up lip crayon (available at BeautyMark!).
I’m not quite 100% so I’m likely doing a whole lot of this hermiting over the weekend – what do you guys have planned?

I absolutely love the bag. what a great shape. fall is definitely here in Ottawa…sigh…i could have done with one or two more weeks of summer!
