By far the most rewarding aspect about my blogging experience thus far has been the incredible friends I’ve made. Whether it’s my beloved The Style Common girls, my “digital” friends who I’ve never met in person but have become close with online, my lovely local industry types or my BWB clan (Bitches Who Brunch, obviously!), it’s really and truly the part about blogging that I always feel so, so grateful for.
Since Peter is leaving us for Toronto, BWB (which consists of Peter, Lily, Matina and myself) got together for one last brunch date to toast his departure, this time at my rooftop deck. Sparkling wine, homecooked French toast, fresh fruit and of course a ton of laughs, gossip and snaps were on the menu and it was fabulous. I love this quartet so very much and am so excited for Peter and all the incredible experiences he’s off to have in TO (my old stomping grounds last summer!).
On another note, some of my favourite digital friends will be house-sitting the blog next week while I head off on an impromptu family getaway. As those of you who’ve been following my blog for awhile know, family’s important to me and I’ve not been getting in enough family time this past month with the move and everything, so I thought I’d take off a few days to really just commit to them and let some of my most-loved bloggers share their incredible style with you instead! Can’t wait to have them here! You’ll have to stay tuned for next week to see who will be guest blogging :).
Oh, and a big congrats to the lovely Marisa of Style Rhapsody, who won my James Jeans giveaway! Thank you so much to all of you who entered – it’s a brand I really believe in and I’m so happy that so many of you mentioned that you appreciate how I only host giveaways with brands I love. It’s true that that’s important to me and it’s something that I want to continue to do for you guys, so if you didn’t win this time, don’t worry – there will be another new and exciting one on the way soon!

Aw, thanks for the shout-out, I still can't believe I won your James Jeans giveaway! Super excited to get my first pair. As for this post, it's really wonderful how you've made such meaningful connections with other bloggers through blogging. It's amazing how the Interweb can bring people together 😉
