I find that usually within three months of a need/want declaration (i.e. something along the lines of “Ugh, I never have any fun but functional crossbody bags. I’ve got NOTHING. Great bag! I definitely do the same! A few weeks ago, all I wanted was a panama hat and I kept fixating on it and seeing pictures of them all over Pinterest. Finally I got one and I'm so happy I did!
