But now, I don’t have a waiting period for the love portion of my love-hate to set in – in fact, thanks to how supremely comfortable Tieks‘ stunning Italian leather flats are right out of the gate, I get to completely bypass the hate portion of the usual break-in process and beeline straight to love.
These fold-up, teal-soled flats are one of my favourite new things, which makes me sound a lot like Oprah. Sounding like Queen O is really only fitting though since Oprah popped Tieks into the Holy Grail for brands, aka Oprah’s Favourite Things. You know that when O has given something the nod of approval, it’s gotta be good.
Not only are these adorable leopard print flats amazingly comfortable and supple, but they quite literally fold up into the size of a men’s wallet, which is the most amazing thing for a blogger who’s usually running around with a pair of heels rattling in her bag for an event or meeting later in the day. When you’re ready to change into heels, just fold up your flats and tuck them into the pocket of your bag. Or, just wear them…they’re such a classic and stylish shape, so losing a few inches in height is more than worth it! Did I ever mention I have a height complex? I’m 5’6″, so above average I believe, but being the shortest member out of my family and among most of my friends has really messed with my height self-esteem. Anyway, even with my freakish height complex, I’d still be more than willing to stay at puny 5’6″ with these leopard lovelies on my feet.
And finally, can someone please just virtually pat my back for finding this wall that matches the teal sole of my Tieks perfectly? I mean, I kind of think I deserve some sort of recognition, a medal or badge or something (I guess Jen can get one too since she’s the one who found this wall in the first place).
First, I love, love that little bit of color popping out from under your layers! That is so fantastic!
Second, I am just going to be the first one that gives you a virtual back pat because that completely deserves to be recognized!
