BROWN. That pretty much sums up this entire outfit. This casual look is all about the taupes, camels, caramels and tans that the fall season brings, tempered with a little hint of black velvet and slate grey cashmere to anchor the whole outfit. I wore this the other day to a lovely chat session with some of my fave local blogettes, and once again, the lovely Jen of her waise choice completely delivered on the photography front. I am desperate for her portrait lens – I already have it down on my Christmas list, but may have to do some elf work pre-December as I’m really so in love with it.
It fiiiinally got chilly here in Van, and I hate it. My boyfriend calls me Lizard for a reason (other than the fact that he seems to enjoy giving me less than flattering terms of endearment as a general rule): as soon as it gets cold, I have to literally place myself in front of a fire or in a hot tub to rewarm my body. Gah, I miss the summer already! How I was born Canadian, I do not know.
Nothing wrong with brown, I love it! It literally goes with anything!

This is a pretty wonderful look, the different shades of brown look so chic and classic together. I hate being cold too but I don't hate the cold until I've had too much of it, although I do take a lot more baths as soon as the weather gets chilly

Even though brown sounds blah, camel and tan are super luxurious and you certainly present it that way. Love the cut of the blazer, so much more interesting! And yes, I totally hate the chill of fall but at least it comes with pretty colours… right?
