Black and Blue
I love the slip-like delicateness of this Club Monaco silk dress. I somehow always forget I have it in my closet (probaby because unlike a lot of women, I’ve never had that “black first” mentality to dressing, always going for colour first) but then every time I take it out I love how simple and comfortable it is to wear.
Anyway, thanks for all the lovely get-better wishes in my past couple of posts and on Twitter! Unfortunately, whatever I have somehow got worse around yesterday afternoon so I’m thinking it’s about time to head to the doctor. Wah.
Hope you all have a lovely Thursday 🙂
your necklace is so pretty!

love the dress and necklace xo
I love all the delicate feather accessories! Here's hoping the doctor can get you feeling better!
i love the dress and i love how you made it even more delicate with the feather accessories! feel better, get to the doctor for sure!
Very pretty!
I can't believe you're feeling worse not better – hang in there and hopefully the doctor can help. On the plus side, you look really stunning in that dress – I always go for black first so that would be in heavy rotation in my closet.

I am the same way – I rarely go to black as a first option but you look great in this dress!!

Awww… I hope you feel better soon, Alex. Sounds like whatever you've got is pretty awful. You, on the other hand, are looking gorgeous as always 🙂

I love the simple black dresses, maybe a little too much. They are so easy to throw on and then you can add colour through shoes and accessories. Little black dresses are my weakness. I own too many.

I always love this dress – it reminds me of taking photos in Blood Alley before our blogger dinner at Cobre 🙂 You know how I feel about all things black, too, so it gets extra love from me. So sorry to hear your cold has taken a turn for the worse, pally. Hopefully the doctor will be able to send you home with some good strong meds to get you back to 100% in a flash!

Very lovely dress.
I'm always a fan of your colorful outfits, but this black piece looks great on you as well! Obviously it helps that there's some sort of a bow on it (in a way) 😉
This post is from a little while back, so I hope you're feeling much better by now!
