This is what I wore to our little blogger going away party last Friday night at Havana. This dress is really special to me…I wore it during the Style Muse shoot I did with the incredible Paul Melo of StyleQuotient (who I had the pleasure of running into last night at the J.Crew pre-launch party – thanks to Paul and his beautiful girlfriend Sunny for their Maui foodie tips!) and that was such a cool experience. Aside from that, I’ve really only worn the dress for special occassions, so it seemed very fitting that I wore it during the last meetup I’ll have in Vancouver with some of my favourite local ladies.

As I’m preparing to move out East, I’ve realized that a lot of the people I’ll miss the most from Vancouver are actually from our blogging community. To think that it’s really only been one year since I first went for a meetup with Cee, Veronika and Lynn – I guess like-minded people are able to develop some serious connections quickly because aside from those three ladies, so many other amazing and talented Vancouver bloggers have become people I regard as close friends of mine.
Aside from the thanks I need to give to all my readers (because you are all beyond amazing!), I wanted to take this last day in Van to express how blessed I feel to have gotten to know some truly creative and inspiring people. I’ll miss everyone!
And with that, it’s time for me to say bye! I have a 2 a.m. wake up call tomorrow morning for our flight so any packing that needs to get done basically needs to happen now.
As I mentioned in last Friday’s post, I have some incredible bloggers keeping you entertained – you are going to love all these ladies and their wonderful style, so stay tuned! Sarah from lipstick and ruffles will kick off the guest blogging this Friday!
P.S. I’ll miss all of you lovely readers while I’m gone – I’m sure some separation anxiety will set in at some point during the trip so I’ll probably sneak in a little commenting on your own blogs. Hope you all have a fabulous couple of weeks!
