I Saw the Light

March 7, 2012

Lucca Couture pants c/o Diverse Group, Club Monaco blouse, H&M rings,
necklace c/o Keltie Leanne Designs, bag c/o Mary Nichols

If it’s not obvious enough thanks to my under eye bags, these pictures were taken veeery early in the morning. Sorry guys. I’m making you look at me at my worst again and again (first with the flu, now after rolling out of bed!). I promise I’ll be healthy and well-rested in the next post! Just look at my beautiful new bag instead for the time being, aka the new love of my life. The beautiful structure of the Mary Nichols Bleecker bag is such a welcome and chic change from the big shapeless totes I usually lug to school. The tan colour also fits seamlessly into my wardrobe – I’ve worn it every day since I’ve received it!

March has been a bit brutal so far – think 10+ hours of sitting in a computer room every day. Thankfully, I have some exciting things coming up later this month to look forward to, including Vancouver’s first large-scale blogger sale that I’ll be taking part in!
If you’re in Vancouver, I’d definitely urge you to come out as there are going to be some amazing deals on hand, not to mention a chance to meet some of your favourite local bloggers. If you manage to get there early, you could also be one of the lucky 50 shoppers who receive a fabulous gift bag with swag from some of our amazing sponsors. Just wanted to give a special thanks to my lovely friends Alicia and Cee for being the driving forces in getting this sale put together!
Hope you’re all having an amazing Wednesday so far!

The colour pairing here is beautiful, Alex – your outfit is a true testament of how black and brown can work together! And I don't know what you're talking about… just rolled out of bed?! Your face still looks fresher than mine does off 8 hours of sleep! Jealous!

Hope your week has been going well – excited to see you at the blogger sale (and to browse through your items of course)!

Look at you, pally – mixing prints like a pro! I still love those Lucca Couture pants so much, they really were made for you. And they work so well with your new school bag. I love black and brown together, and you come up with some of my favourite black and brown combinations, without a doubt. So happy to see our clothing sale poster in this post, by the way – can't believe how fast it's coming up, but I'm thrilled that you're going to be part of it 🙂

I like the sturdy yet classic style of the bag; it's great for school! The print on print is fearless but I love the sheer quality of the shirt that flows so well into the pants.

I wish I could come out to the sale but that's the day of the dinner theatre production I'm coordinating =( I'm sure you'll have a great turnout and people will buy in lieu of me.
