As I’m sure you’ve already noticed, I gave the blog a little facelift yesterday! I’ve actually been really frustrated with my old design for some time now and felt that as the blog moved into a more visual direction, it really was high time for a cleaner design that would let my photos take centre stage.
I got rid of the old background template in favour of clean white, and gave the banner a stronger text feel. I hope it’s not too much of a change for any of you – I tried to make all the updates quite subtle.
Of course, any feedback is much appreciated! I’ve only seen the site on a few monitors now so if there are any bugs that need fixing or if the layout doesn’t work on your monitors/smart phones, please let me know!

This week has been such a blur. I got over my flu but still have a bit of lingering fatigue, which will hopefully go away after a nice, relaxing weekend at my cabin. Though it’s always one of my favourite months of the year, I literally have never been so eager for April in my life: I’ll have graduated, it will be my birthday, I’ve got my trip to Maui and all in all, I’m just really looking forward to having a life again.

I love the new blog header. And oh my god, we have the same baby doll I am 99% sure, mine was named "dolly" because I was an oh so imaginative child. Everyone comments on how creepy she is because of her lack of face!!

I definitely love the new look. I now what a headache it can be to revamp things, so congrats on making it happen. It looks great.
I just became your GFC follower (you know officially) but i've been frequently checking out your blog, i am always mesmerized by your outfits and how model-esque/beautiful your face is, you always keep your make up so natural and flattering to your colors.
not many do that.
i actually like your simpler design, since as you've said it leaves the pics and posts to steal the spotlight. its clean, its minimal and i like it.
you should totally keep it, of course if you feel like changing it again this is up to you.
since i've seen your comments on other blogs before i know that you always take time to check out other blogs so i would love if you checked out mine as well.
