This Saturday I met up with some lovely blogettes for a quick bite at Thierry (I know, I go there way too often) followed by a beautifully bright but insanely blustery photo shoot. You can’t really see it in these pics, but we were literally being blown away at certain points!
I’m actually pretty proud of myself because I managed to literally pick the first five things I could see out of my closet and throw them together into what turned out to be a pretty cohesive look. While letting my hair dry on the ride down, I also somehow got my makeup on without poking my eye out. All in all, I give myself an A+ for speed and effort. Of course, that was all shot to doo-doo after Matina shows up looking perfect after having texted me five minutes before saying she was “such a mess.” Yeah right, girl.
I’ve been wearing my new Keltie Leanne Designs Energy necklace pretty obsessively. Not only is it stunning (I love the citrus punch of the carnaline and citrine combination), but I’m hoping it gives my tired self some much-needed energy. Stones have healing properties y’all!

I love your lace skirt, and it looks so great with that button down top. I seriously wish I could rock button up's like you do. I'm impressed you got dressed that quick AND did you makeup on the bus, those are some mad skills!! If I did my makeup on the bus I'd end up with lipstick in my ear somehow

Love the colour of your boyfriend's oxford shirt. So classic and paired lovely against the white of your scalloped skirt (which is also great in itself). The whole outfit evokes that classic enduring style with the khaki colours mixed in, yet still modern with the tights, the belt and the updated trench.

Usually for me I'll get most of the outfit right except for one crucial thing like the shoes but by the time I realize I'm out the door or I've packed my outfit for after the gym. Then I have to go the entire day feeling like if only I was wearing my such and such heels. But when they do turn out right its such a great feeling like you said. Love that skirt on you!
