When Spank Clothing answered my desperate plea on Twitter begging for someone to let me follow them for a “life in the day” project I’m working on, I never imagined that the interview and shoot would end up being such an amazing experience. But the day I spent with Spank’s in-house designer Sylvia Lee, who designs their label Lost&Found, was exactly that. Photos of my time there will come in a later post, but in short, it was fantastic to take a closer look at such a creative mind and see what goes into creating a collection. The lovely people at Spank also gifted me this absolutely beautiful dress, and another piece that I’ll be featuring later this month. Thank you so much to everyone at Spank for the special day! They have an online shop so if you love eclectic, femme style as much as I do, be sure to check them out!
Please excuse the graininess in these pics – since our days are getting shorter and shorter, I usually only have time to shoot earlier in the morning or around 3-4 p.m., and right around both points of the day, the lighting is just a biiiiit wonky.
I’m slowly but surely getting through the workload of this week and fortunately, I’ve been distracted by my excitement for the upcoming weekend, I honestly can’t wait for my girls night in Whistler this Saturday! Hope you’re all having great weeks so far, and don’t forget to enter my Barefoot Contessa gift certificate giveaway! Only a couple days left!
