These Days

Mink Pink cape, Club Monaco clutch, Joe Fresh skirt (courtesy of Jen of her waise choice),
H&M booties, belt, and top, Aldo Accessories necklace

I’ve been in love with Jen’s graphic print Joe Fresh skirt since I saw it on her here. Needless to say, when she unveiled it at our blogger clothing swap I jumped (literally) at the chance to style it myself!

Matt and I ended up having a great Sunday. It was filled with nothing and…nothing. It was pretty perfect! These days, I’ve been so overwhelmed with schoolwork (and usually have to cover events for the program’s newspaper over the weekend on top of homework too) that I’d rather relax and recharge than go out and be hungover the whole next day. I just have to keep remembering…eight months. The program’s only eight months then life goes back to normal. Until then, I can give my liver a big long break.

How were all of your weekends? Hopefully a bit more eventful than mine 🙂

I love the skirt! And like Cara said, you styled it perfectly. I love all the colors you combined. I'm glad you had a relaxing Sunday : ) All kinds of work should be banned on Sundays, don't you think? ; )

Alex, love how you've styled Jen's skirt -just beautiful! All of the touches that went into this outfit are so pretty, and work perfectly with one another!! As for your Sunday, sounds as eventful as mine. My work schedule is WAY too hectic as of late, and if I'm not working then I'm slumped over/half dead… and trying to re-coup. 😉 xo V

So lovely, Alex! You definitely did the skirt justice – blue and orange is one of my favourite colour combos 🙂 Hope you've been doing well and that you're able to get some rest in spite of how busy you are. I know your hard work is going to pay off tremendously for you!

Alexandra! I love that skirt on you..it's funny because I was just reading an article about Joe Fresh in Elle today! I searched for them online and it's too bad they don't offer to ship. You look so gorgeous as always…whenever I see your face up close, I'm like…oooh, so pretty! Hope I don't sound too creepy, haha. I hope I can start taking outfit pictures one day soon. And I'm excited to hear that you're coming to visit! Of course, we can meet up! Just let me know and we'll go shopping together 🙂 xoxoxoxo

Hello, fellow Canadian! I'm LOVING the blue of that shirt – it's so eye-catching. And can I just say that you have the most gorgeous eyes ever? I may or may not be periodically scrolling up to look at your eyes in that last photo. I'm not creepy, I swear! Haha
