On Robson Street – Melissa

I spotted Melissa on Robson Street yesterday and was immediately drawn to her beautifully layered look. It came as no surprise that Melissa is involved in fashion – she’s the fashion designer behind the Vancouver label Charlie.

A homeless man decided to join us while we were shooting on Robson Street, and though I enjoyed his company and boozy odour, I decided it’d be best to move along to a different locale. Thankfully Melissa was a total sport about me dragging her all over the place! You can keep up with her line by following her Twitter handle @melissa_mariec.
Hope you’re all as excited for Halloween as I am! I think I’m taking it easy tonight with a few girlfriends but should be going out tomorrow night in my costume. Dressing as a sushi roll is still the plan, but if that falls through (and in all likelihood, it will…I’m not very crafty), then I’m defaulting to Betty Boop. SO excited! Have a great Friday my loves!

So many amazing layers! This outfit has pretty much everything I love for fall rolled into one- the combination of brown and navy; a chunky scarf and possibly the best pair of Hasbeen boots I've ever seen 🙂 Yet another fabulous feature, dahling. Hope you enjoy your Halloween. Personally, I will be dutifully watching one scary movie, eating far too much candy and then going to bed early in a sugar coma 🙂
