This outfit makes me feel like an elf (Legolas-style in Lord of the Rings), and I like it. When I was younger, I was really obsessed with all things folklore- or Druidism-related. It goes without saying that I was kiiiiiind of a weird kid. Anyway, this is my ode to that quirky little girl, reading her books about Celtic war rituals and hobbits in the tree fort. I’m proud and happy to have been someone so “special” at some point in my life. Some would argue that not much has changed.

I loved this blouse when you wore it the other day, but I think it might (if it's possible) be even better in this incarnation. But then again, I'm biased because I own this skirt, too, and I love it. I was actually wearing it today 🙂
As far as being special is concerned, just be glad you were more original than most of us, who were wasting our time on The Baby-Sitters Club, preparing ourselves to have no life goals beyond getting married and having babies 😛
