Pinkberry Launch

Frozen yogurt, bubbly, Cory Monteith, friends…all around a very decent Thursday!  Yesterday, Vancouver welcomed Pinkberry into its new Park Royal Village location by feting the opening with a performance by Bonnie Dune (and as you might have guessed, Cory Monteith of Glee fame is in the band).  Aside from creepily standing right in front of the band, pushing pre-pubescent girls out of my way, I also got to sample some of Pinkberry’s amazing mango frozen yogurt, sip on some bubbly, and catch up with some of my fave bloggy friends.

Mango fro-yo with strawberries and raspberries…I promptly sat in a corner of the VIP tent and, huddled over the fro-yo like Gollum over his ring, devoured the whole thing.

One of my beautiful best friends Caitlin came as my date!  She got the pomegranate frozen yogurt and also ate the whole thing…we’ve been known to eat two large pizzas between the two of us.  Big appetites = big friendship!

I told you I was creepily close to the stage…

Cory Monteith in the moment, simply glorious!

So happy to have finally met you two lovelies!

The whole group again with the lovely addition of Lisa from Solo Lisa on the far right!

Many thanks to Lisa Kwong of Tara Parker Tait PR for coordinating the invites, I had a great time 🙂

Great to see you last night Alex! That photo you captured of Cory Monteith is awesome haha- you got so close! I had no idea they were greeting the fans in the VIP area after their performance, or I would have definitely put my stalker abilities to good use haha.

Anyway, hope to see you again soon! Have a great weekend love

Your posts always make me laugh. There are very few people who can one-up my level of self-deprecation, but you manage it every time 🙂 I particularly love the fact that you compared yourself to Gollum when you described how you ate your yogurt. Hilarious. Serious question, though: how do you manage to make that Aritzia tank work for you? We have similar builds and you look amazing in it, whereas every time I try that cut on, terrible, terrible things happen.

I digress, because I am clearly the only blogger who does not think there are boundaries when it comes to commenting. You look gorgeous, as always.

Alexandra! Wow, you're so lucky! You get to see Cory perform! I love him in Glee and I can't wait to see him in a new season! And can I just say you look glowing?! I've already mentioned this to you a couple of times before but you look like Megan Fox!

I love your comment regarding the guys….my last boyfriend was a really nice guy at first until he became so awful in the end. I hope that I will meet someone who is everything you described and hopefully, be a Dolce and Gabbana model, haha 🙂 Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! Talk to you soon! xoxoooo
