Ever since seeing a belted scarf display in the Vancouver Hermès window, I’ve absolutely loved the idea of it. Aside from adding colour and another element of texture to an outfit, it also adds a really lovely draping effect.
This look works really well in the winter too….for the cold, a thicker cashmere or wool scarf belted and layered under a cardigan looks great. But who’s thinking about winter right now anyway? Summer all the way!

I love this idea as well, but have found that it can make any girl look a bit heavier depending on the fabric of the scarf.
