You know when you become obsessed with a piece (new coat, new bag, etc) and don’t really think anything of it until someone comments on your creepy fixation on said item? That happened to me recently with this stunning Simons coat from their Twik line – it wasn’t until my boyfriend noticed that I really haven’t taken it off that I realized I’d worn it for like…8 solid days. I’m finally settled back home after a whirlwind couple of weeks away (nothing like fitting three trips into less than two weeks). I’ve also been really quite sick (and we’re dealing with the most irritating construction ever in our apartment) so needless to say, I’m feeling a little bit spent. Having said that, while I’m exhausted now I’m so excited for a bit of R&R this week, a laid-back weekend at home and some fun holiday festivities I can now take full advantage of. A pretty great hump day situation to be in all in all!
