While my Cloudbusting look is perfect for school so long as the weather’s relatively dry, when the rain settles in, I need to just suck it up and throw on some practical footwear. Though these boots aren’t necessarily the most stylish shoes around, nothing beats them when it’s pouring rain. And when paired with skinnies and a leather jacket, I’m comfortable enough for school yet still presentable enough to run around town afterwards!

I happen to adore those boots. I love boots like this pair because they can be worn with anything and everything. The pair that I have (very similar to yours) are worn constantly because they work in rain, snow, slush, and chilly-ish weather. PERFECT. Definitely got my money's worth.

Alex, i love how you create these combo looks and balance the casual with the chic so well!!!! hard edge boots, feminine floaty blouse, raw leather jacket and a RM bag. i don't think i could just throw something so clever together at all, it does look really comfortable too.
