I’m all about obsessions. It’s probably actually my greatest failing in life: I can become super fixated on one thing and really struggle with doing things in moderation
When it comes to accessories though, I sometimes find this obsessive nature actually comes in handy. I tend to fall in love with a piece or two and it becomes my signature for a certain period of time, making getting ready in the morning a really snappy, default process that still doesn’t lose any style impact.
Two recently acquired pieces have quickly become my new signatures: this stunning little clover charm necklace by my friend Veronika of Shore and this beautiful coastal-inspired cocktail ring by Georgia, who is yet another industry pal…how do I have so many crafty and talented friends? I can’t even cut a piece of paper in a straight line with scissors. Anyway, both these stunning pieces are as timeless and wearable as they are unique and playful. I’ve been wearing both on repeat with a huge heaping of pride since they’re made by such incredible local talent!
They were the perfect things to accessorize this femme yet slouchy look, though I probably need to up the femme and bring down the slouch for today since I’m headed to a luncheon for the opening of the gigantic Victoria’s Secret in Van and myself and the rest of The Style Common girls will be chatting with Angel Lindsay Elligson!
