As per yesterday’s post, I’ve finally not only come to terms with the fact that fall is coming, but I’m actually full-on embracing it. For me, it’s all about working fall in piece by piece. Though I’m usually more inclined to be the jump-in-without-testing-the-waters type of person, when it comes to seasonal dressing, I like to ease myself in slowly. A leather jacket and structured bag (did you see the rest of the stunning Phillip Lim x Target collaboration pieces yet?!) gives a distinctly fall vibe to this look while the core of the outfit is perfect for the afternoon heat we’ve been experiencing on these late summer days. Baby steps!
On another note, I’ve actually been happy for some cloud and rain lately because I’ve been experiencing some less-than-amazing health as of late and nothing makes me feel as guilty as being unwell, stuck inside while the sun’s shining outside. Hoping I can rest up this week as I have a pretty solid weekend planned, so just this once I’m actually hoping for some grey skies! Cross your fingers for me

I love the touch of leather to welcome Fall. I'm pretty surprised that I'm openly welcoming Fall this year as well. I think it might be because we had such an amaaazing July and pretty good August.
