Fishtail Braid Tutorial

Happy Wednesday! Despite the rainy day forecast, this week has been sunny and hot – so much so that I got some major colour on my run yesterday! To celebrate the fact that summer is officially almost here, I’m sharing a super easy tutorial to achieve one of my favourite hairstyles for the summer: the fishtail braid!
A couple extra tips that weren’t included in the video:
– this works best with 2nd day hair as it has more texture
– if (like me) you have very fine hair, you can add a bit of wave or curl
with a curling wand first so that the braid holds better
– if you’re really going for a rough braid, try backcombing your hair gently pre-braiding!
