I often get asked in interviews what my biggest “moment” has been in my blogging career. The fact of the matter is, you can’t pick one because at each moment, whatever big breakthrough, achievement or recognition you’re experiencing is the biggest and most exciting thing to happen to you. Of course, each one gets replaced by the next, but there are some instances that still go down as relatively momentous even in retrospect. For me, one of those moments was undoubtedly hosting the J.Crew event last year. It was so perfect for me because it’s not only a brand I support and endorse, but I am legitimately addicted to their heels. Their footwear not only wins out each year in terms of style points, but they are the most comfy heels ever. Ever! So here’s the 411 on how to get involved: Instagram however you wear your favourite J.Crew accessories with the hashtag #AccessoryFix and you could get a covetable spot on J.Crew’s homepage where they’re featuring their favourite snaps! Considering the label’s undisputed rep as the tastemaker, it’s basically like a badge of honour style-wise. Fingers crossed these blush beauties make it up there!
In other news, after steadily working through the past couple of weeks on taxes, renovating part of my place, working through a bunch of campaigns and starting on a new home project, I’m feeling like I need a bit more R&R this week. I have some exciting events (including one I’m hosting at Whole Foods tomorrow, so stoked!) but I’m going to majorly up my time on the yoga mat, log more time meditating and make sure I get a full 8 hours a night. Sometimes, it’s just getting back to the basics that make all the difference! Oh and speaking of which, I’m working on something to do with relaxing and getting in touch with yourself – a meditation 101! Let me know if you have any specific questions in the comments!
