Michael Kors heels, Club Monaco scarf
I quite literally spent the whole weekend cleaning, sleeping and watching a marathon session of Parks and Recreation. It was amazing. Sometimes you get stuck in a rut of being way too busy, not having time to organize and feeling all in all run-down. That was me for maybe…a month…or two. Having a rainy, cloudy, gross weekend was the perfect blessing in disguise because it gave me the chance to finally sit inside, do all my laundry and organize our space. So good! Trying to make a commitment to doing this once a week at least going forward because it makes all other areas of life so much better to have things in order. Boring but true.
The only time I really ventured out this weekend was for more coffee (I’m doing Whole 30 and need to ease into it by giving into just one vice!) in this little stripes-on-stripes look. I find whenever I’m focusing on prints or textures, limiting the colour palette to just one or two tones helps bring everything together. It was a grey day so naturally, cloudy greys and cool blues seemed right.
