I’ve made no secrets about the fact that the past few months were kind of unusually challenging. It’s not even that a bunch of stuff happened (though there were of course some real stressors) – it’s just been a period that’s presented a lot of things for me to work with, both in a real tangible way and emotionally too. Whenever I start feeling this way, I almost instantly start craving change (particularly when I feel like some things are out of my control). I’ve been updating our place, updating all my brand docs and finally, I made a much more dramatic update to my hair than I was expecting! The verdict: it’s literally my favourite cut I’ve ever had, and a change I so, so desperately needed.

My girl Jill always has amazing hair and has similarly fine hair to me so I asked her for her girl – she passed me on to Ali at Barrette Salon, who literally just got my hair right away. I showed her an inspo pic and after a quick consult, this choppy, layered and super easy style was born.

If you follow me on Snapchat (tovogueorbust), you’ll see I’ve already had massive success with air drying it (as it is here). My stick straight, super fine hair usually never dries into anything too interesting, but with a bit of sea salt spray (more on my new go-to products soon), it’s got all this new amazing texture and wave. I am seriously obsessed!
I’m always surprised by how much a new look can motivate you in all areas too. I’ve made some important strides forward towards finally completing a project I’ve been dying to share with you guys, I’m continuing our apartment re-do and so much more. It feels good to be feeling a bit more control and excitement about life in general these days.
Again, hit up Ali if you’re looking for a killer cut! Happy Monday guys!

think a fresh, new haircut is one of the best things we can do for ourselves! Why not change it all the time? It just grows back again anyway! It reminds me of that BuzzFeed video… changing people’s lives with a hair makeover or something like that? You look stunning!

Its like you learn my thoughts! You seem to understand a lot approximately
this, like you wrote the e book in it or something. I believe that you could
do with a few p.c. to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, that
is wonderful blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back.

Hello there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
Is it difficult to set up your own blog?
I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
    With thanks

My coder is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about
a year and am anxious about switching to another platform.

I have heard very good things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
