Other than swimming, running has probably been one of my most enduring and gratifying fitness loves since I was a kid. While I’ll get myself out for a HIIT run every now and then, I feel most at home on a slow and long run when I have time to clear my mind and let my legs do their thing. Because it’s just me and my two feet for 1hr+, I love something bare-bones but (of course) still cute and unique. These adidas x Stella Sport pants have become a fast favourite thanks to their paneling detail and classic cut, while this tank‘s bold print helps it stand out as I weave along the Sea Wall, wicking away sweat to keep me cool thanks to its climalite® fabric.
Spin for me is always about the layers. I love spin because it’s a guaranteed serious sweat session (like literally, I will completely sweat through my shirt every single time), so while I’ve usually shed my top and am down to a sports bra halfway through class, I need a tank and jacket post-class, not only because I’m in desperate need of some cozy dry clothes afterwards, but because spin is often a social thing for me with friends and we usually are off to brunch or coffee. This jacket and tank not only feature all the high-performance technology you need for such a high intensity cardio session, but their standout pattern also adds an edge to my post-class look. With a leather jacket layered over top of this sports bra I can’t stop wearing (more on it in a second) and my new favourite tank-and-jacket combo, the whole look is very much sport chic – heavy on the chic.
And now, can we please talk about this sports bra? I am obsessed with it. It’s supportive, it keeps me completely cool during my workouts, but more than anything, it is just really chic. I’m in Maui right now and I’ve been wearing it 24/7 with a pair of shorts for beach walks, lounging, etc. I can’t wait to style it with other looks both in and out of the yoga studio once I get home – its high scoop neck is so unique and the colour blocking makes it so special.
