By loading up your pre-paid Mogo Prepaid Visa® Card, you get all the ease of a credit card without amassing more debt, only spending what you load on there. And there’s some added benefits: amazing different card designs, no monthly fees, unlimited free transactions, free text updates with your balance and you can even put multiple cards on the same account, perfect for partners or other family members! Mogo gives an amazing rundown of all the benefits and also some really insightful tips on how to avoid credit aftershock for 2015 here! All I could think of while learning more was how much I wish I had known about them when I was in Europe – I had to book last minute plane or train trips on the fly all the time, put deposits down on hotel rooms and shopping-wise, credit cards are sometimes the only real option when you’re abroad. It would have been amazing to have just transferred my travel funds to one pre-paid card so that I would have total control over my spending!
The past few days though, my shopping has been limited to more of the online variety as I’ve been getting over an awful cold that nearly everyone I know seems to be suffering from right now! A full day of total rest, my favourite get-better drink (green roibos tea blended with honey, cayenne pepper, lemon and ginger then strained into a mug) and a major Friends marathon seems to have pretty much done the trick – I think the lightest 4K jog today will finally move the rest of this cold out. Need to recover ASAP because I have a pretty fun project I’m working on out in Langley tomorrow – follow along on Instagram to see what my girl Alicia and I are up to!
A big thank you to Mogo for sponsoring this post.
