My Europe adventures could’ve just as easily been known as “A Tale of Two Bags” since I quite literally brought just two very hardworking and very chic bags for the whole trip: a trusty brown leather bag and my beautiful One Fated Knight woven tote, which was easily my most-worn bag the entire trip. Even with my camera, laptop, Oyster card, metro passes, baguette or dozens of different types of currency rattling around in it at any given time, it saw me from Dublin to Lisbon to Paris and more in effortless style and ease (seriously, this bag fits my life and more).
I’m always careful to team up with brands I truly love for giveaways, but given the fact that I not only love this bag, but am very emotionally attached to it too after spending a whole two months basically toting around nothing but it, I’m really so excited to be teaming up with the amazing Vancouver-based label to give away the Queen bag (valued at over $400) pictured in this post for one of you, just in time for the holidays! Since the remainder of this post is a bit more heavy-photo than usual, you can enter right below if you want to cut to the chase, but trust me – you’ll want to click through to get all the snaps! This was a particularly beautiful day exploring Paris, one I’ll always remember.
Read the full travel diary here and if you’re so inclined, you can get all the fine print on the contest at the bottom of this post!

My mum’s best friend (my “Auntie,” as we grew up calling her) has the loveliest daughter who spent a couple days showing me around the city. So nice having a local to take me around, and it was just a bonus that she’s such an incredible photographer (and she’s a pastry chef to boot)! We wandered around Sacré-Cœur, had lunch on Montmartre, stopped by the Moulin Rouge, grabbed one of the best baguettes in town (purportedly) and then just like that, at the end of this already-magical day the heavy mist that had blanketed the city earlier lifted and we got the most beautiful golden hour glow I’ve ever seen, a golden hour you could really only experience in Paris. There’s something so indescribably special about the light in Paris – it’s easy to understand how artists, writers, musicians and other creatives have been inspired by the city for centuries when you see the silvery greys, hazy golds and tonal beiges in person. It’s really and truly magical, but the magic is really in its subtleties, the slight variations that kind of shimmer in and out of one another. I’ve never seen anything like it anywhere else in the world, and it was just one of the many reasons I’m completely in love with the city.

My One Fated Knight bag was the perfect vessel for the day and for the city, holding my camera, my book (gotta keep entertained on the continuously plagued RER line!) and most importantly, my baguette! It was beyond, of course (just like everything is in Paris). And not only did the bag manage everything with ease, but it blended seamlessly style-wise with the city – chic, timeless, elegant, but with a slightly unique twist!

I’m so excited to give one of you the same bag – the contest runs until December 21st at 11:59PM PST and is open to Canadian and US residents only. Good luck!
