Holaaa! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was amazing: low-key and relaxing. The only thing was the shooting at the Toronto Eaton Centre Saturday – for those of you who haven’t heard the news yet, CBC had some good coverage. Such a random and senseless act of violence – I was particularly upset about it because my best friend was stuck in the mall when it happened. I’m happy to hear that aside from the one fatality (which seems to have been targeted and has gang-affiliations), everyone else who was injured is recovering, especially the 13-year-old boy who had just been visiting Toronto with his family.
Anyway, the weather all weekend had been miserable (rain, wind, rain on repeat) but there was this tiny patch of beautiful sushine yesterday afternoon – it was the perfect moment to take my new Ministry of Retail dress out for a spin. White could not be a more natural choice when the sun is out, not to mention I love the hole details and chic cut of the dress. I paired it with these adorable flats from H&M – I’ve had an almost magpie-like fixation on anything shiny or sparkly lately, so needless to say, I’ve been obsessed with them.

alex i heard the news about the shooting. i'm so glad to hear that the little boy is okay and to be visiting toronto with your family what an impression. that's just awful. when does that ever happen? Toronto has had a rough week, first the flooding in union, then the shooting…yikes good karma has to be coming our way soon!

I cannot believe how brown you still are (I guess it helps that there has been some sun in TO) and there is nothing that goes better with a white dress than a tan 🙂 Needless to say, I'm jealous on several counts. I love the open knit of this little white number and of course those sandals.
