Yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to style a window in one of Vancouver’s best boutiques, Barefoot Contessa. I had a fantastic time and left feeling incredibly impressed with the boutique, the products, and the staff. As most of you know, I tend to gravitate towards more feminine styling sensibilities, so it’s no surprise that I spent several very happy hours sifting through all their ultra-femme pieces before finally getting down to work. I may or may not be going back tomorrow to shop…and by that I mean I am. And I’m pretty excited about it.

So for my window, I decided my theme would be Vogue magazines (which is obviously fitting given the name of my blog), and my personal style icons who often grace the pages inside the magazine. I picked each of my outfits with one (and in one case, two) of these ladies in mind…see if you can guess, I’ll tell you the answers at the bottom!

of the mags in the window and is a true sweetheart.

What an amazing opportunity! You of course rose to the occasion. I love your theme and the looks you put together are spot on! My favorite is the wool dress with the little faux fur dress. I would wear that right out of the store! If only I wasn't a 22 hour drive away 🙁 xx
