Fresh Summer Beauty Tutorial

“to
Hello from Paris! We kind of took an inverse red-eye here if that makes any sense (landed just when all of Paris was waking up and we would normally be going to bed) so I’m feeling slightly woozy today, but even a touch of jet lag can’t damper my over-the-top excitement about finally being here! While all the travel adventures are getting documented over on Instagram (and on Snapchat @tovogueorbust, of course), I wanted to share this fun and incredibly easy beauty feature Erin and I did recently which is now live on Glitter Guide! Click through to discover how to pull off this effortless summer beauty look!

1. First of all, I’ve been using St. Tropez’s Luxe Facial Oil serum once a week to help bolster my beachy glow (I’m trying to limit sun exposure a bit this year but being the sun baby I am, it’s not working out that well!). At any rate, a bronzed glow is the perfect base for the rest of this look.
2. After evening out your skin tone (think sparse application), blend highlighter into the top of your cheekbones, bridge of the nose and browbones.
“to
3. Dust some bronzer into the hollows of your cheekbones and along the jaw and hairline – loving this Too Faced Sun Bunny bronzer, which has a touch of shimmer to it!
“to
4. Add a pop of colour to the apples of your cheek by smiling and applying with your finger tips, blending well!
“to
5. I’m obsessed with this Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Mascara (more about some exciting CT news next week!) so with a great mascara like this one, just add one coat to both the top and bottom lashes to bring out your eyes.
“to
6. Add a creamy pink pigment to your lips to pull together the whole look and add a touch of colour to your summer look!
“to
7. Finally, spritz some soothing rosewater face spray to add a dewy touch to your whole look (not to mention it’s refreshing during steamy summer days!).

See the whole post over on Glitter Guide – a big thank you to the wonderful team there for including our feature! And of course, a massive thank you to Erin for partnering with me on this fun feature.
And with that, happy Friday everyone! I’m going to try to make it through the whole day without passing out – wish me luck!

I've actually been trying to put together more effortless looks and wear less makeup on these hot summer days. I love the way this turned out! And I absolutely love the idea of using a little rose water to bring the look together. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
