You guys!!! How is it 2014 at midnight tonight?! I don’t know what it is about this year but I swear, it’s gone by uncomfortably quickly. Ordinarily these kinds of holidays creep toward me more slowly, but I haven’t even had a chance to properly write out all of my resolutions this year in preparation for the 1st tomorrow, or do any cleaning…get my hair cut…wrap up all my health appointments…you know. Everything I like to do before ringing in the new year.
Regardless, I’m so excited about ringing in 2014 tonight with some of my favourite people (and this dress from yesterday, of course!). I have a great feeling about this year and I’m determined to crush a few of my big goals. Can’t wait for it! And as for 2013…well, whether you’re a new reader or have been here for awhile or just check in here and there, thank you so much for joining me for what has been a pretty amazing year. There have been some exceptionally high and low points this year but despite it being a slight roller coaster, it has been the most incredible learning experience and all in all, 2013 has been pretty amazing to me.
So what better way to welcome the new year than with the glitziest champagne bottle around, Jeweliq sparkle and a whole ton of gold confetti? I’ll definitely be under the weather tomorrow and busy with my 5K Resolution Run + Penguin Plunge combo so I’ll see you on the other side on the 2nd! Have the best time everyone and Happy New Year’s Eve!
PS if you need a little champagne popping 101, be sure to check out last week’s tutorial! Again, have the best time tonight!

I'm having a cozy night in with my hubby, toasting with sparkling cranberry juice; and maybe doing a movie matinee tomorrow!! Enjoy your champagne, Alex…and see you next year!! 😉
