Yes, this post’s title is in honour of a Guns N’ Roses song and yes, I’ve watched the whole 10 minute video the whole way through several times. The cold, grey and continuous torrent of rain has given me the perfect opportunity to do this full-on tribute to dear old Axl in his prime/with bangs, which incidentally is also the perfect way to kick off a long weekend in my humble opinion (I mean, my spirited impersonation of Axl Rose…I think we can all agree it’s probably amazing). So excited to have an extra day this weekend, it’s so very, very, very needed. Feeling pretty exhausted at the end of what’s been a very busy but fun week and am looking forward to just getting a ton of rest and doing all the little things that have fallen by the wayside lately, like exercise and laundry.
I’ve been cuddling up in yet another amazing Obakki coat all week to get me from event to event – this piece is seriously my new most-hardworking item. Love the unique colour mix in the fabric and the amazing classic silhouette. Hunter boots (i.e. a Vancouver girl’s musts) and a cozy sweater dress made for a comfy look perfect for a tea in Olympic Village. It was pouring, which you can’t really tell in these pictures, but seriously…when it rains here in Vancouver, it rains. The boots and umbrella were entirely necessary.
And on that note, I’m going to wrap up and take a niiice long weekend…will be back here on Tuesday! Oh, and thanks to everyone for their feedback on Blogging 101 in this past Monday’s post – if you have any more things you’d like me to cover over the next month in terms of blogging tips, photography, time management, etc, please feel free to leave a comment here or email me at tovogueorbust [at] gmail [dot] com! Happy weekend everyone!

I love the color of your umbrella: it's a happy color. =)
And kudos to you – I'm too much of a pansy to bare my legs in cold weather, hehe.
