Speaking of colour, I may have lied in this post a couple weeks ago about being done with my purpley-toned moment…I just find that no matter what colour I stumble upon (red, blue, hot pink, etc), purple immediately jumps to mind as the perfect shade to pair any tone with. Looks like it’s an obsession that’s here to stay.

As such, when I was thinking of mixing things up and pairing this fuchsia Subtle Luxury sweater with a bright hue as opposed to the constant roster of skinny denim it’d been paired with before, this Wilfred skirt was a no-brainer for me. As much as I love the sweater paired with an equally strong colour, I have been wearing it obsessively with blue jeans in particular…the perfect combo for a winter-spring transition look. All of Subtle Luxury’s cashmere is so soft too (you might remember my floor-sweeping pebble-toned cardigan) that I never want to take their pieces off either. True love.

I’m mid-way through my first week at my new job and am loving it! Such a wonderful company and I’m so excited to be there. Hope you’re all having lovely weeks yourselves :).

Love the colour blocking combo, especially with the hint of teal on the visible soles of the shoes. The a-line skirt makes your tiny waist look even tinier!

It's so beautiful and sunny back home, I miss the beauty of Vancouver that you always capture.

I was wondering if burgundy was going to stick around for spring and the answer is obviously yes if it's styled like this. Such an amazing combo! Also the company you work for looks amazing. What a wonderful place to work. I hope you enjoy every minute of it!
