Chain Gang

Goddess chain c/o Keltie Leanne, Wilfred coat c/o Aritzia, jeans c/o Gap,
Sam Edelman booties, top stolen f/ brother, bag c/o Roots

When I first got this Keltie Leanne Designs goddess chain, visions of holiday attire danced through my head (see what I did there?), and while I still believe this stunning gold chain is made for holiday looks, upon scouring my wardrobe I quickly realized how perfect it was for adding an unexpected element to a casual look. On went my little brother’s private school top I stole years ago, my favourite comfy skinnies and this winter’s two go-to staples (my Roots bag and this Wilfred coat), and to top it all off, I placed my little chain atop my head. I love the idea of a chain instead of necklaces, bracelets et al…it’s just as elegant yet it lends a little boho appeal without veering into full-on hippie territory.
Can’t believe it’s Wednesday already! I know I’ve said this constantly throughout the week, but seriously, I have no idea how I’m going to get all my Christmas shopping done. My family always does “Secret Santa,” so on top of all of us getting each other (and Bailey) presents + our better halves, we also have to each be responsible for the more time-intensive “big” presents. Having a big family is great for receiving but as much as I love shopping for other people (that is definitely not entirely true), the giving can be stress-inducing (mo presents mo problems y’all). Tacking on another three hours today to the two I racked up yesterday…wish me luck…

OOO beautiful pictures. Love how the light is captured in them.

I love the chain headband. It's so simple and elegant. I like that it's subtle so that you can wear it with a casual outfit or to work or where ever without standout TOO much.

You poor dear! I do not buy christmas gifts. I try to always buy something for my nephews and my niece but the adults are on their own. I guess I figure if I buy myself what I want they should as well. I would rather enjoy them and christmas eve dinner then them wasting money on me or me on them. Yeah christmas is not my favorite holiday (can't you tell…I'm such a grinch lol)!
And as always you look beautiful! I love a good oxford jean combo!

I have made some chain headpieces as well. sadly I haven't had a chance to take some photos. Your headchain looks absolutely gorgeous on you. I think it's a bit boho touch to this classic casual look.
