Sportif Chic

This weekend was perfect in all its nothingness. All I did was visit the Distillery District, eat, sleep and watch Breaking Bad. I feel about three bazillion times better than I did last week and much more adjusted to everything here in TO. Sometimes, the only cure for being down/homesick/sick is to just let yourself do the simplest things and relax. Thankfully, it worked!
Betsey Johnson heels, H&M top and skirt, Rainbow watch, Club Monaco wrap bracelet, vintage bag
Being a sporty girl myself, I loved taking traditional Parisian chic for a more athletic ride. A super casual high pony, colourful watch and minimal makeup took the old stripe-on-stripe look into more sporty territory and, in my opinion, gave it a bit of added wearability. But really, it’s just a handy excuse for me to get away with my shitty hair styling and makeup techniques – they’re always sporty.
I have a big work week coming up but I have my first ever Blue Jays game to look forward to on Tuesday!!! No offense to any baseball fanatics out there, but I usually find it really boring on TV, so I’m excited to see if in person (and with 2-3 beers), I can become a bona fide fan.
Hope you all had a great weekend!

I love this simple sporty look, the skirt is gorgeous with the striped top. Such a great look. Baseball is definitely much more enjoyable with 2-3 beers in ya, I'm sure you'll have a good time 🙂

I love the athletic high ponytail and fun watch. It's like sporty chic. Enjoy the baseball game as well — the only ones I've ever been too that I didn't find a boring were the two times I've seen the Red Sox play the Yankees, but I think that's the exception. I think the beer will definitely help.

I want your watch and your betsey heels – love the contrast between the sporty blue and the girly bow heels. And a high pony is always model chic (according to Tyra!).

    Have fun at the game.

Okay, pally, you already knew I was going to love this look, seeing as I posted pretty much exactly the same one on my blog today – great minds, obviously 🙂 But can we take a minute to talk about this poinytail? I have dreams of perfect ponytails. But I also have thick, coarse, unruly hair that refuses to flow in one direction. So I'm going to have to ask you to wear ponytails more often so that I can live through you 😉

So good to get your email today, I promise to write back soon. Miss you bunches!
