I know my fellow Canucks probably won’t be that impressed with me for saying this but…I really hate the winter. It’s been snowing for the past week and isn’t supposed to let up for awhile, so I’m going to have to get really creative about getting to all the things that keep my spirits up during the winter (running, getting enough light, trekking out to see friends). I also just have to keep repeating to myself: Maui in three months, Maui in three months, Maui in three months. That and I might be doing Vegas up once I’m done my term too! Just need to keep the sunshine in my mind.
One thing I’m super excited about is a little cabin trip this weekend! Should be massive amounts of good quality girl time: doing our nails, face masks, chick flicks, and lots and lots of baking.

Keeping Maui in mind should help you survive the next three months. At least there is no ice — right? Because ice is the worst. You look cute, so that helps, too!

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the colour palette, and is that Ambleside I spy? There's so little snow compared to up where I live! But, I think I'm on the same boat with you, it's pretty to look at, to board on, to play in, but after a certain point, I AM SO SICK OF WINTER! 🙁

This is such a great outfit. I love all the colours. Also, the snow on the west coast is the worst. It's wet and slushy and makes my ears hurt. I don't know why. But we'll make it through! Eventually.
The weather is the hardest thing for me to adjust to since moving to Vancouver but it sure does make for pretty winter photos!! I'm kinda jealous I'm missing all the snow.

Maui in three months? I'm officially uber jealous, pally, but I know at least you'll take lots of pictures while you're there so that we can all live vicariously through your beach time fun. In the meantime, you're making the best of this miserable weather (as a fellow Canadian, I am so with you about hating winter – that's why I moved to BC!) by layering beautifully. I'm Canadian too, but I also HATE the winter!! But then again, I was spoiled by the beautiful sunny weather in California when I worked there for 6 months! Coming back to Vancouver from TO tomorrow, hope there won't be too much snow/slush on the ground!
